Modernisation of the interceptor sewers for the Pruszków Strip

On the 5th of December 2013, IDS-BUD S.A. signed the contract for the project called: “Modernization of the Interceptor Sewers for the Pruszków Strip”.
 
The task will be carried out within the framework of the Project No. POIS.01.01.00-00-204/09: “Water Supply and Sewage Treatment in Warsaw – Stage IV", financed with funds from the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme for the years 2007-2013.
 
It has been contracted by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w m.st. Warszawa S.A. [Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise in the capital city of Warsaw].
 
The scope of contracted works covers the design and construction of:
  1. modernisation of the sanitary interceptor A - 1100/1750 in the length of about 1414 m,
  2. modernisation of the sanitary interceptor B - 600/1100 in the length of about 2472 m,
  3. modernisation of the sanitary interceptor C - 600/1100, 800/1400 in the length of about 7222 m,
  4. modernisation of the sanitary interceptor D - 600/1100 in the length of about 897 m,
  5. modernisation of the existing equipment at interceptor sewers A, B, C, and D, i.e. the inspection chambers (235 pcs.),
  6. modernisation of lateral connections with approximate length of 2000 m, connected with the interceptor sewers under renovation in accordance with recommendations concerning the eligibility of costs incurred by the Contracting Authority within the framework of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme.
  7. management of the area of planned investment and bringing it back to its previous state. The restoration of the area should be designed and performed in accordance with recommendations concerning the eligibility of costs incurred by the Contracting Authority within the framework of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme.
The results of the planned investment include:
  • improvement of the technical condition of interceptor sewers by strengthening their construction.
  • reduction of ground water infiltration to the sewage system,
  • reduction of sanitary sewage exfiltration to the ground,
  • protection of the Utrata river drainage basin,
  • improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants.
 
To be completed: not later than 31st Oct 2015.
